Rotary Drum Sludge Enrichment Dehydrator
The rotary drum sludge thickener operates on a straightforward principle. Sludge is fed into the dynamic reactor using a sludge pump and a dosing pump. It then enters the rotary drum within the thickener. This drum, equipped with a compound filter cloth, rotates at approximately 10 RPM. As water passes through the filter cloth, the flocculant sludge is retained. A cleaning nozzle ensures the filter cloth remains clean by gently impacting the floccules. The resulting sludge concentration post-thickening is influenced by the solid content in the feed sludge, the flocculation dosing amount, drum rotation speed, and its dip angle.
