Specification & Technical Data
1. Initiate the process by pumping sludge into the mixing reaction tank, where it thoroughly mingles with a polymer solution from the polymer dosing system.
2. Observe rapid flocculation as fine particles transform into large aggregates, forming networked flocs that advance into the gravity pre-dehydration thickener.
3. Witness the release of most free water via the gravity thickener's filter cloth, with the filtrate tray collecting effluent, effectively separating it from solid sludge.
4. The pre-dewatered sludge is strategically maneuvered onto the upper filter belt, transitioning to the lower filter belt where stepwise pressure and shear forces expel water, producing a dewatered sludge cake.
