Screw Sludge Thickener
The core of the volute sludge thickener is ingeniously constructed with a fixed ring and an active ring, centered around the robust screw shaft. This innovation integrates the automatic control cabinet, flocculation disposal tank, sludge concentration section, and a complete tank into one seamless unit, all under the umbrella of fully automated operation. It continuously completes the sludge concentration process by mechanically mixing sludge with a flocculant to form 3-5mm flocs, which then gravitate into the concentrated body. Within the concentration section, the sludge advances with the screw shaft's rotation, causing the volume of the main chamber to be incrementally compressed, filtering out the filtrate. The sludge's solid content progressively heightens, allowing for rapid concentration. As the screw shaft rotates, it propels the movement ring and the fixed ring in a rapid concentration, maintaining a continuous self-cleaning cycle. This innovative design effectively resolves blockage issues common in traditional equipment. The stacker concentrator is ideally suited as a pretreatment mechanism for sludge dewatering and further dewatering systems, such as presses, high-pressure diaphragm panels, or alternative dewatering apparatus.
