Within the thickener, the rotary drum, equipped with a compound filter cloth, rotates at approximately 10 rpm. This mechanism allows water to permeate through the filter cloth while effectively retaining the flocculant sludge. A cleaning nozzle maintains continuous filter cloth cleanliness, gently preserving the integrity of the floccules. The final sludge concentration post-thickening is precisely influenced by the initial solid content, flocculation dosage, drum speed, and angle of inclination.
