Rotary drum sludge enrichment dehydrator
The rotary drum sludge thickener operates on a straightforward principle; the sludge is fed into the dynamic reactor using a sludge pump and dosing pump, then transported to the rotary drum inside the thickener. The rotary drum, equipped with a compound filter cloth, rotates at approximately 10 rpm. As water penetrates the filter cloth, the flocculated sludge is retained. To ensure the filter cloth remains clean, a cleaning nozzle consistently cleans it, providing a gentle impact on the floccules. The final sludge concentration after thickening is determined by the solid content of the feeding sludge, the dosing quantity of flocculant, the drum's rotating speed, and its dip angle.
